High volume dry fire seams to be more of an issue. From my experience a replacement Firing Pin Retaining Pin is a cheep and worth while upgrade. They are rather straight forward to install and they fair much better than the CZ factory FPRP. For low volume dry firing this is sufficient in my opinion.
For clarity, the issue at hand is the potential damage to the factory FPRP. The FP can be driven into this pin repeatedly and cause issues over time. During dry fire and even during normal live fire use in some cases this pin can take cumulative damage until it breaks and in some cases falls out of the slide. The CGW replacement pin is of an improve design and material. In part it acts like a spring to absorb the energy of the hammer

When placed behind the FP it stops or decreases the force transferred into the FP. A snap cap is another viable option. The down side that i have found with snap caps is that they break down over time and they are not as effective as an O ring. Some folks even place a disposable foam earplug behind the FP, i have no issue with this option.
If the pistol is for Self defense just remember to take the O ring out after a dry firing session.
Here are some reference pictures. Any O ring close to this size and thickness will work fine.
