Uncle Mike's CZ-75 rubber grips?
« on: January 22, 2019, 08:24:22 PM »
Has anyone tried out these Uncle Mike grips for the 75 and if so, are they any good? I saw these on Ebay and was curious.

They look alright to me. The price is right. Unfortunately there is no profile picture. It seams questionable that they would be an improvement over the factory rubber 75 variant grips that come on a stock SP-01. Allot of folks pull the factory rubber grip off of their SP-01s to install aluminum grips among other options.

If you have not checked them out it may be worth while to look for a pair of take off factory rubber grips. From what i have seen they usually go for $20 or less.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

I use the Hogue wraparound rubber grips and cut off the front wraparound/finger groove part.  Works and feels terrific.

Not as bulbous as the stock palm swells but also not too thin like aluminums.  Just right for me.

I bought an Uncle Mikes holster once.

I will never buy Uncle Mikes again.

But that's just me. Uncle Mikes is normally very cheap and the reason is reflected in the quality. In my humble opinion.

Agreed when it comes to holsters, and some of their grips are very rudimentary, but some of the older rubber ones worked very well despite being a rather unremarkable checkered pattern.

Oh  man... those grips look perfect! How did you go about cutting them?

Still surprised that Hogue just doesn't make grip panels for the CZ75. Doesn't  seem like that big of a stretch for Hogue to make them.

After you've finished removing the front wrap-around and finger grooves, how close, or not, do these feel to the OEM CZ rubber grips? Specifically considering the thumb recess on the left side grip.

Once you've removed the finger groove area, how close (or not) do these feel when compared to the OEM CZ rubber grips? Do they have the same recess for thumb on left side grip?
