I'm simply amazed at how gun owners find issues like this.
Now that you brought it up I checked.......Well let's just say alot of pistols and only had one that would do this, my FNX-45. It only does it when I push the slide slightly out of battery and ease it back into battery slowly. If I pull the slide all the way back and release it , this does not happen. I have about a thousand flawless rounds through my FNX-45 so I'm not going to worry about it.
Let us know how this works out for you.
First chuckle of the morning, sir.
I had to chuckle/laugh. I've noticed the same thing. I can't tell you how many times I've grabbed the P01, or the P07 or P09, unloaded them, field stripped them and then grabbed a flashlight/second pair of glasses to get a real detailed/close up look at some feature/action of my CZ pistols when someone on this forum or another one questions things they've noticed about their new CZ pistol
Had I not read it on the internet I'd never have looked at, or noticed, that particular feature/action. Whether it's wear in the finish on the inside of the pistol frame/parts, a funny noise it makes, the way it feels/sounds when you field strip it, etc., etc., etc.
Just had the P01 apart a couple nights ago looking at the firing pin block after someone questioned whether or not it should be flush with the bottom of the slide or not (mine was not and neither was theirs - I assumed that is normal since my P01 works great).
Like reading posts about how unreliable a 1911 is. I read them, I think about them, who knows, maybe, someday, one of mine will mess up and hopefully I'll remember what that other guy did to fix his, on those occasions where there really is an issue not caused by the operator.
