Thanks.  May have to pick some up -- good price for .45.

I shot a couple mags of Herters 9mm 115gr just today.  Don't buy much of it as my CZs love 124gr, including S&B who used to make it for Herters/Cabelas.  Maybe they still do.

I heard that S&B made Herter's ammo. That's what made me want to try it. My nearest Cabela's is about an hour drive from me. Free shipping sealed the deal.

Talk on the shotgun forums is that since Bass Pro bought Cabelas, and there is little profit in low priced ammo, the Herter's line is being discontinued...at least shotshells are.

Order placed.  I checked my ammo notes and apparently shot Herters .45 before.  I wrote down, "Good stuff".

the brass cased pistol ammo used to be marked on the box that it was made by S&B in the CR

that was one feature that made it attractive to buy
