Brand new CZ-75 TS
« on: February 04, 2019, 05:46:17 PM »
Just picked up a brand new Tactical Sports for a good price and put my first rounds through it today.  I've shot IPSC for some time with box stock guns and this is my first IPSC-specific gun.

Out of the box, fit and finish is excellent.  Recoil is non-existent.  First shots deadly accurate close and far--tested out to 60 yards.  It's heavy.  It's big, but fits my big paws perfectly.  Trigger is super light--that will take me some getting used to but I LIKE it a lot.  I'm using it totally box stock, black sights and all and really like the gun a lot.  Fits my Ghost holster just fine.

I know a lot of people are looking at the TSO and other custom arrangements, but this one is going to be great for me.

Any IPSC shortcomings in the future will be ALL ME, not the equipment!

Readiness is all.

Awesome! I have a Czechmate Parrot, and I think I actually prefer the TS grip over the TSO style grip. Great choice! Congrats!

They really are BIG! GUNS!

I weighed mine on the little postal scale I have and seems like (I think it was loaded, but it's been awhile) it was 3 lbs. 7 oz.

I like mine.  Just too big to carry all the time.  Trigger is scary light.  Good for the range.  Takes some getting used to every trip, so I try to do a little dry firing with it first to tune my finger/brain up before putting a round in the chamber.

Oh, mine's a .40 S&W, but the hot 135 grain hollow points aren't bad at all.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

CZ reliability!  120rds through it without a hitch.  Amazing accuracy.  Still getting used to the trigger.  I plan to get at least 500rd through it before first match of the season in mid-March.  Great gun!

Hiya Blackjack and congrats on your first 75-TS, agree its a great gun and especially built for the sport of shooting. It received about a third of my range range time with its two cousins, the 75-long slide, and Checkmate. Best of luck with the March shoot. Typically CZ sends several slide stops with the new TS, do keep a spare in your range bag. It's the only breakage I've had several times using the platform. We need pics,at your leisure. Be well.

I have two of them and you couldn't buy them from me, although several shooting buddies have offered to steal them :)
