Cz customs vs CGW
« on: February 16, 2019, 03:19:13 AM »
Any of you guys tried both cgw and Cz customs? Curious which way you?d go if you were to do it again. I want to send mine to one of them and get the works done to it.

I have CZs from both. They both do great work. I do not think you can go wrong with either option.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

Yep.  Flip a coin, you're a winner either way..

That being said, and after looking at my depleted bank account, I have used CGW more over the years as a whole. ;)

I have customized a PCR, RAMI, and P10c using mostly all CGW parts. Both companies offer great products. I have chosen Cajun simply because of the excellent customer support I have received.

I have CZ's from both CZ Custom and Cajun Gun Works.  I would not hesitate to recommend either or both of them.  Great products, great services, and great people.

Hiya tanders and thx for thread. And also agree both offer high quality custom work and support for customers. If you spend time in the many threads owners and employees of both have invested time and energy to contribute to threads and answer folks questions here for many years. Both have websites to paruse your cz of choice and always feel free to call there numbers to clarify questions. Stock on hand, prices, cost of delivery, etc.they both can answer and anticipate some of the questions and concerns you have. Are you a owner of any handgun, long rifle, grenade launcher, etc at this time? And as much as we love to find projects to adapt to particular use. They pretty much are made very complete right out of the box, so don't feel buying a 600 handgun isn't capable of meeting your needs. Investing another 600 I promise will not make it twice as good nor worth twice as much. And keep your eye out here for cz owners looking for good homes for ones they need to part with for extra values. Be well.

I have one from both CZCustom & CGW...

I like the one from CZCustom better. No wait! That was last week; this week I like the CGW better!

Cool folks no matter which one you choose. VERY ACCOMMODATING...

They're both great.  It's obvious that either place has very knowledgeable folks.  You can also find
parts at one sight that you might not find at the other.  Twice the sights, twice the fun.  You can't
go wrong either way.  Good people and fast at both places.

I appreciate your detailed comment! I do currently have a new 75 compact that I instantly fell in love with. I don't have any gripes with it, just see so many people talking about how much better one shop or the other made their gun so I thought it would be worth getting done. I plan on putting several hundred more rounds through mine before I do anything, that way I can truly appreciate the money spent on the modifications (hopefully).

I left a vm at CZ Customs asking for a call back to answer a few questions.  Called Wednesday.  Still waiting.  I may call Cajun on Monday.
