P gun Stippling

Stippling on my new CZ P 10 C is a bit harsh for me.  I didn't want to molest the Gun so, I found a simple answer for myself. A Wilson Golf Glove. No more sore Trigger Finger and no more irritated hand.

The golf glove is good if you only use the pistol for the range.

Trigger & stippling only starts the bother my hand around 100 rounds. If, I got into a situation where I needed more than a 100 rounds for a gun fight well, it would be time to run away pronto.

I did the back strap on my P-09 using a tip I found on Ebay. I think the tip did a good job compensating for my lack of skill. Here's the tip I used:

smart man. In the same boat here, I had all my CZ polymer done with a soldering bit and I am super happy with all. I might upload pics when I can one of these days.

Stippling it's so easy to do. If you make the grip too aggressive, just hit it with some sandpaper. Not aggressive enough? Hit it with a soldering iron again.
My quick tip when stippling is don't do directly under the beaver tail, or the bottom of the trigger guard.

If you search for "Waffle Stipple Tip" on Ebay you will turn up quite a few that will fit different style irons. The one I used is from ladygirl98.

It's been a while since I did this, but I'm pretty sure I just stippled over the nubs. I did practice on one of the back straps I was never going to use (it actually turned out quite nice) before doing the one I wanted to use. The stippling goes pretty quickly and I found that the transfered heat plus my handling changed the fit of the strap. It was a little loose on the gun when I reinstalled, so I took it off and warmed it up a bit (from the backside with a heat gun), then adjusted it it for a tight fit. I've had no issues with it.

Just got the waffle tip.

If you follow the existing stippling pattern carefully you can get a supergrippy blackstrap that locks the pistol into your hand without over doing it.  It really changes the feel of the p09.  Makes it much more secure.  Also, if you keep the back strap on the pistol it won?t warp out of shape.
