Back at it
« on: March 18, 2019, 03:26:43 PM »
About 2? years ago my health took a real down turn.At the time I had about 1300 9mm loaded and 1200 45, 200 .223, 40 .300 Savage and 100 357.
I have not made many range trips in the 2? years and 3 of those trips was taking my niece and I shot a total of 10 rounds but in the other trips I made myself, most at 50 rounds per trip. O'well, I have gotten down to 400 9mm,1100 45,200 .223,40 .300 Savage and 50 357, time to reload some 9mm.
So to make a long story shorter, I loaded up some 9mm this morning only a couple Bo Bo's. It took me a few minutes to remember how to load the primers into the 550, I knew , was just a bit unsure, do I remove the primer warning system or not, I left it all worked fine, started on a run of 200 rounds.
I would like to say everything turned out great but I must admit a couple errors, 1 case with no bullet. 2 cases with no primers. I know what happened to the 2 primers but no clue as to the missing bullet as I was really concentrating on powder level at both the drop and setting the bullet.
I did not follow my own advice, set it and forget it, trust your equipment once set and don't  pull any out to check if all is well.
That's it, all in all a good morning I even was able to replace my Dillon 2016 calendar with a 2019. I guess I will renew my club member ship one more time seeing as though I have enough powder, bullets, and primers for about 15000 more rounds.

Glad to hear you're feeling better, and back at reloading.
I had the right to remain silent...

but not the ability.

Glad to have you back, brother,
