CZ P10F optics ready vs G17, G34?
« on: March 25, 2019, 03:38:47 AM »
I love my CZ P10C, I had to get the slide milled for an RMR and some other custom work by Jagerwerks.  I absolutely love to shoot this pistol and I do extremely well with it, however, do to the barrel length I tend to use another firearm platform such as the Glock 34 and the G17 MOS for the carry optics division and steel challenge match (USPSA).  Has anyone had the chance to do a side by side comparison between the P10F Optics ready and the G17 MOS version? If so, care to chime in?  I love the ergos, feel, the balance of the CZ platform, I own the Shadow 2 as well, which has been Cajunized  ;) but boy she's a heavy beast and for a great purpose.

I'm getting the P10F optics ready soon, but first I want to get some feedback  ;D pros, cons, etc.  Thanks in advance~

The P-10F feels exactly the same as the P-10C except for a little more weight.  If you are happy with the C, you will love the F.  You already have your answer, I think.  I don't have any Glocks to compare them to and probably never will.  There are lots of folks who love their Glocks as well, but I think you should get what is most comfortable to you and that fits your hands best.  Mechanically, the P-10F is top notch without a lot of aftermarket parts.

If you're shooting USPSA or any competitive situation, you really need to get yourself a steel gun, such as a cz 75, or an sp-01... change out some springs and watch the difference unfold, it's astonishing... you're competing up-hill with that glock!  :-\

I already have a steel gun, Shadow 2 Cajunized.  However, I prefer the polymer version since I tend to transition faster with them.  I love the Shadow 2 but she's a beast of a handgun as far as weight goes.  It's just a personal preference, what works for you may not necessarily work for others and vice versa.

I absolutely love the P-10C and I'm sure I will love the P-10F but I'm just looking for different opinions and comparisons, I shoot them extremely well and I love the fact of their significant weight reductions compared to the steel counterparts of the CZ platform.  I also have a Shadow 2, heavily modified/cajunized.
