Duty Holster
« on: April 16, 2019, 11:14:34 PM »
Hi all. I recently bought my first CZ P-09. I had some work done by CGW where they polished the internals, did some trigger work and milled and installed a Burris Fastfire RDS. I have been carrying a Glock 31C (.357 Sig) for 10 years in LE. I now want to carry the P-09 but cant find a RDS holster with weapon light option. Is there a Glock holster I could use that may fit my P-09? My Chief is now wanting us to carry a Safariland 6360 or 7360. I have no clue if they would fit my weapon. Im open to another brand if necessary. I might can talk him into allowing it.

Doubt the sufariland will work with where the ALS mounts on the holster and where the holster will have to be cut out to make room for the red dot. They have the 6360 for the p07/p09 but not with a light mounted.

Could give them a call as they have a good LEO section and may be able to build something. I have seen a few companies offer level 2 holsters for cz's with dots and lights with just the hood retention, but that may not be secure enough.

Contact Chip at Renaissance Firearms in Arlington, TX.  He does some cool one-off's.  He might be able to help you out.  http://renaissancefirearms.com/.

I know they don't list the CZ P-09 but with all the other CZ's they list I am sure if you contact them they can make something happen - they even list some of the PD's that use their holsters.
