Ok here we go. Back from the range with the P10 S. Here are my thoughts;
I put 150 rounds downrange. 100 124gr S&B, 50 115gr WWB. No issues of any kind for feed or extract, even full mags +1, slide locked back on every empty.
Below is my target. The dot sequence I shot was 3,4,5,6,1,2. Each took 25 rounds.
3&4 were 124gr, at 21 and 25 feet respectively, those were my first 50 rounds through the pistol ever. These shots were taken slowly (every 2 or so seconds) to get a feel for where I was punching holes and getting used to the sights.
5&6 were 25 rounds each of 115gr WWB at 40 feet. I feel pretty good about 5, but 6 I was losing a bit of focus. Obviously there was a flyer there I am not too fond of. What can I say...it happens.
1 was rapid fire 124gr at 40 feet (1 round per second or less, approx, 5 round mags, change, slingshot, back on target), and 2 was my last round of 25 124gr at 30 feet, carefully aimed but not talking too much time...just a steady pace to get a good reset.
Overall I am pleased with the pistol, but I am capable of better.
As for the pistol...I think it is just great! It has an awesome feel in the hand, is well balanced with loaded mags, and points naturally. Sights are good, and POA to POI is a combat hold at distance (meatball covers impact). It?s a wee bit heavy, but the bonus is that there really isn?t much muzzle flip to speak of. Versus the Glock 48, it is far more manageable. I don?t have a 26 on hand so I can?t make a one to one comparison, but it even feels like less flip than a stock G19 to me as well. Trigger is awesome as advertised. I love my small P01 collection and I would put this up against any of those any day (one exception, but it?s a Shadow Line Compact, it?s a work of art). I will say this last point with a grain of salt. On short gripped pistols, I like pinky mag plates. I don?t like my pinky hanging. However...on this pistol, I honestly can?t see a need for one. There isn?t one available at present, but fear not. This little puppy can be handled with NO issue whatsoever as-is.
I know I dragged on here a bit...so long story short...seek one of these little puppies out, and get one ASAP!
Finally...a pic so you all see it in the proverbial flesh...
