I was really looking to get one from them a couple years ago when they announced they would get them. Then delays kept happening thanks to Cali politics nonsense. I finally forgot about it. Would still like to have one though. Yours looks great!

Just checked - they're out of stock now.
If you really want one get on their email notification. That's what I did last year and now I have one!

I believe you are correct. That is the weight I see listed.
It is at least 10 oz. heavier than my CZ P-07 in the same caliber!

And then add the weight of 11 cartridges.
I'm very intrigued by this pistol and got on the waiting list.

Range Update:

Here is a picture of the first 21 rounds.  10 yds. shooting Blazer Brass 180grn
Not too bad in my mind considering I have never shot this gun before.

Shot the same ammo in my CZ P-07 to compare the recoil.

The weight of the stainless steel Smith & Wesson makes the recoil of the .40 feel more like a push straight back.
The recoil with the polymer frame of the P-07 definitely allows the muzzle to rise.

Not too much take-up on the trigger, a very well defined wall, and a guesstimated trigger pull of 6 lbs. in single action.
Double action pull was stout but manageable - guesstimated at around 11 lbs.

Then there's the reset . . . . oh my word . . . . the reset is crazy short! I thought the reset on my P-07 was short. Well the reset on this 4006 is about half that of the P-07. WOWSERS!!!  Seemed like my finger twitched and the trigger reset!

This thing is definitely a keeper!!

They just don't garner much interest with the average shooting public today but the 3rd gen guns were the go to models through the 80's and 90's for many law enforcement agencies before everyone went crazy for blocks. I owned several way back when and they were/are very well built and reliable guns. I still have my stoning fixture for slicking up the actions on those models.
Surplus models can be had at very reasonable prices but when they were in production guns like the OP's .40 Tactical were well over $700.

Warbird, do you by chance own a po9 if so could you take pictures of that and the 4006 tsw side by side from a couple of different angles. I would love to see the comparison.

Unfortunately I do not. I do have a P-07, but that's a bit smaller than the P-09.

Thanks for the reply, I'm thinking the
PO 7 might be closer in size to the 4006.
Could you take a picture of those two together good comparison and post it please?
