My DIY 3D Printed Case Feeder

I thought I'd share a quick video of my DIY 3D printed case feeder for my Hornady Lock n Load AP press.

This is not my design. I found the files on the Thingaverse site. A friend printed it for me for free. About $20 in screws and rigid tubing for the collater and I was rock and rolling. Works well. Has more than doubled my production.

I've been using mine for about a year now, works pretty good. The only issue I've had is the shuttle that drops the case didn't go forward quite far enough. I ended up adding some plastic to the back of it. Works fine now. It's not flawless, but I've heard the Hornady case feeder isn't either.

Dredging up this old thread. I though it was interesting, and Austin, the kid that works for me said he'd print me one last summer. Decided to see if I could get it working the last couple of days, and after a little "tuning," it feeds very reliably.

Mine came with a bearing in bedded in the rear of the shuttle, perhaps a new design feature???

My only problem is with 9 MM cases sometimes dropping up-side down from the collator.  I usually catch them but it would be nice if that didn't happen.

Do you have the correct inserts in the top of the tubes? Mine drops one upside down maybe one in a couple hundred or so.

Did not get any inserts for drop tubes, I am getting more like 1 in 15-20 upside down.

My case funnel & tubes came from Lee. It came with small and large inserts that go in the holes in the funnel.

That explains it.  Mine was all 3-D printed.
