And now one more new member

Greetings to all the forum members from me. Home goes back and forth from Colorado (Springs) to Texas. Have a 75B Omega that I am working on for USPSA, a couple of Tanfos in 10mm, and various 1911's. Finally dawned on me that buying a $2K gun isn't gonna make me a GM any more than owning a slap/chop is gonna make me a chef- So now its time to listen and learn from the other members here.

Picked up lots of good info already. Hopefully I can contribute something in return.

     Hiya Msnthrp and welcome to the community. I like the variety of platforms you use to shoot. Are the 10mm for sport and hunting? I hope the time and energy you devote to the shooting sports will pay an adequate dividend of fun and enjoying seeing your skill level grow at a pace you are fine with. Be well.

My 10mm addiction comes from my brief stint in Fed Law Enforcement... I was around in the late 80's when the cartridge first came in to fashion and carried a Delta Elite. (Before the cartridge was watered down). I still believe that its one of the best S/D rounds (If you shoot it enough to be comfortable with the added recoil) and versatile enough be loaded down for competition or cranked up to shoot large 4 legged predators. The extra expense for reloading due to the cost of the brass has become somewhat untenable...  so for USPSA Production I think I'm gonna stick with the CZ in 9mm. Though it did get some attention in a couple of matches...Which I clearly shot on Sundial instead of Stopwatch... ::)
