  • Hello!
I am looking for a needle in a haystack. I have an early pre production CZ VZ 22 pistol or more correctly pistol of 1922. This is one of the very first Czech pistols pre nazi occupation designed by Joseph Nickl. I?m incredible shape for its age with original grips. I do have the original prototype magazine that came with it which works. But I?m looking for a second or third magazine as I am one of the lucky ones that actually has one of these early guns that cycles perfectly. If anyone has ever seen one of the prototype guns, you already know that the mags were crude steel, unrefined and unfinished in many cases. I?m looking for an actual Czech production mag for it. The only place I can find one on the web is gun clips.net and since they say it also fits the Cz 24 I don?t think it will work for me since the mag release is far more complex on a vz22. I am looking to sell this rare piece but apparently can?t do that here since I?m a newbie on here with less than 25 posts? Ultimately I?m guessing I will have to put it on gunbroker. If anyone has an original or compatible mag please let me know. Please text or call me as I seldom get on here and work three jobs. This was my best friends grandfathers gun brought home in ww2. Thanks for any help.
