Czech VZ58 Keymod Handguards

Saw this the other day on CanadianGunNutz. There?s several rail options they offer, including a full length that spans the election port, although knotched some to allow for ejecting cases. I thought I?d point them out. Pretty interesting. The website is in Czech though and not sure they ship here.

That full length one-piece top rail and handguard is incredibly cursed, holy crap. I love it.

I'm a FAN of the long handguard like some US AK Handguards.  Not a fan of taking away the use of OEM irons - but replacing the whole top MIGHT be attractive if I was a 3 gunner looking for a solution. 

Anyone KNOW where they got that M4 adapter that is STRAIGHT and sits low?  That might be very nice.

I will say that this is intriguing:

Adds 21 oz and costs $342.

I estimate it adds about 11 oz to the rifle given it replaces the hand guards and rear top cover.  Spread out over the gun, that is not bad.  You can then go with any variety of optics, sights, and easy to mount lights, etc.

Wonder who may import - but again the 58 industry here is minimal.

That gap in the picatinny sure looks to me like it's an open top ejection -- those screws suggest the possibility of a deflector, but not present here.   Deflectors always increase the odds of malfunction and why likely absent here.

Looks like like a PITA, like you’d need to remove the unit and re-zero anytime you wanted to clean or open up the action.

I’d be interested in a M lok fore end hand guard.

I purchased a lower handguard from them some years ago for my VZ2008! No issues…
