Anyone checked one of these out? A friend and I feel Remington forgot how to make a shotgun, but learned how to make a 1911. He bought two that ran perfect, made one his carry gun and wouldn't sell it. It seems these days guns are hit or miss. High capacity .45's. lets talk about them.
Just prior to the 1994 Crime Bill, I had brief ownership of a Para-Ordnance P14. Try as I might, I just couldn't get used to it's grip. Un-employment and an offer I could not refuse, got me to sell it at a good profit. Also, I had fallen in love with a different double stack .45, the Tanfoglio made .45 Witness, of which I now own two of. Other .45's have come and gone and I own two 1911's, but the EAA imported .45 Witness will always be my favorites of the bunch. The older 1992 vintage .45 Witness was my Winter Carry Pistol for about 5 years. Both .45 Witnesses have been favorites for USPSA/IPSC Limited 10 Major competition and remain so.

SAR K2-45 .45, 2013
The more recent addition to my .45 ACP battery, the 14 round capacity SAR K2-45, is also a great handgun. However, I've found it a bit too heavy for carry. Tried it once.
A new Hi-Cap .45 that interests me, is the new Ruger American. Won't know if I like it until I get a chance to shoot one.
Too bad Remington has forgotten how to make Shotguns, as I have an old 12 gauge Remington 1100 that I dearly love.
