So I just got my CZ 75SAO back from CGW and I am trying to remove the barrel so that I can try to fit some reloads (Plunk Testing) and I am unable to get the barrel to come out.  No matter how much I have tried to clean/lube the bushing/barrel it is a no go.  Well I thought maybe too much lube, so I tried to clean it off and just leave a small lite film...still no go.  Any ideas?

It may have to be at the exact right position to let it pass.  They were able to put it together, so it must be able to come apart.  On all of mine, you have to keep the barrel as far to the back as possible - to keep from reaching an angle that makes it bind in the bushing....while still being “gentle” with it.

Not trying to be a jerk...you just have to hold your mouth in the right position and it will suddenly pop out perfectly.   8)  We've all had the same issue.  You will figure it out the 3rd or 4th time you get it out.

This is so funny, and so true!

^^You might want to try giveing CGW a call directly.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

It will get easier with use, and it's most likely going to translate to a very accurate pistol. Mine initially needed a little love tap by having the barrel all the way to the rear and gently tapping the barrel upward through the ejection port with a rubber hammer.

This is definitely a good problem, have you shot it yet?  Run a couple hundred rounds of factory ammo through it, it should loosen a bit but tight is the goal with the 10x.

Try squeezing the extractor in with a small padded vise or pliers.  This will give more clearance and it will come right out.

Same here, didn't take much at all.

I also have the bushing installed on three different CZs on two of them they're quite easy to get out, the third I have to finagle it a bit. As somebody else's stated you just have to hold your face a certain way LOL.

I have the 10x bushing installed on my SP01 and also have the same issue. What I do to remove the barrel with ease is to: 1. Place the slide facing down (front sight pointing towards the ground). 2. Rotate the barrel to the right and lift out of the slide. 👍

I have the 10X on my Shadow 2. It’s tight, which is the point, and not difficult but a bit tricky to remove the barrel. What I found helped the most, especially with the DLC coating on the bushing, is keeping the outside of the barrel end and the inside of the bushing lubed. The DLC coating on the bushing seems to have a high external friction level which is easily broken with gun oil.

My CZ75B barrel became easier to remove after a couple hundred rounds were sent down range.
The stock bushing was rather crude compared to the 10x bushing, although the ID of the new bushing was only .0015 smaller in Dia.
