Shadow 2 kadet barrel roughness, slide damage?
« on: August 21, 2019, 01:35:35 AM »
I recieved my replacement shadow 2 kit from CZ a month ago and already put 300 rounds through it.

Aside from the slide not  fully loading a round sometimes after getting dirty it has run flawlessly.  I'm using the standard slide spring with golden bullets which I think need the red spring.  That could be the issue.

I cleaned my barrel and noticed the barrel is a little rough on the top side of the inside barrel.  Would this cause any issues?  Really dont want to send this to CZ again and have to wait 3 months for a replacement.

I also noticed the bottom of the slide getting gouged,  should I sand this smooth or let it work it's way out?

I would e-mail the pictures to CZ and see what they say.

I did this the first time I had issues with the other kit where it actually stopped functioning.  They had me send it in and determined it needed to be replaced. Which then took 3 months.

I think they will ask the same for this issue.  It's working fine so I will hold off and keep enjoying it.
