Bobwhite G2 question
« on: August 30, 2019, 05:54:46 PM »
So I recently purchased a Bobwhite G2. I’ve familiarized myself before making the purchase with everything possible regarding this shotgun. However the one thing I was not expecting was for the receiver to be case hardened. I was under the impression the G2’s were all the black chrome (the barrels are black chrome).
I’m just curious if anyone else has this option on their shotgun?
I’m new here but I can’t seem to figure out how to post pics so here is a link to imgur

Thanks for any help
John

Here's the link to the official "Help FAQ": https://czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=93202.0

I find the way that works the best for me is to load TAPATALK on my phone as well as an app to resize photos.

Suggested size is 800-1000 pixels wide.

I see you've got the picture upload issue solved--good work!

I've never seen very many CZ shotgun enthusiasts here on the board.  I figure most of them are out hunting or competing in skeet or sporting clays and haven't the time to browse and post.  It might be a while before someone can give you an answer to your original question.

Hahahaha well I have to have something to do when I’m not out shooting
Anyways I just thought I’d try here as I’ve not had a reply from CZ.

I called CZ and was told that it was a manufacturer’s special with sportsmen’s warehouse.
Gotta say I love it

Thank you! Looks awesome.
What gauge did you go with?
Trying to decode on 12 vs 20.
What to do, what to do...

Thanks!
I went with the 12.  I had my heart set on the 20 but after handing it the 20 just felt small (I’m a large guy 6 ft 280lbs). The 12 just felt right but I hear people love the 20
I’ve shot more clays than anything (+/-) 1000 rounds, not very many pigeons, some  preserve quail, a few squirrels and am going to try my luck this weekend on woodcock and pheasant opening.  Light loads with the option to change chokes helps.  My old shotgun was a browning a5 and the loads I used to cycle the action did  damage to smaller game.

I just got the 20g with case-hardening, too. Was wondering why it was black. Glad I got the blueing. Beauty.
