Just got a new to me CZ97B and getting ready to reload for it.
I have been reloading for CZ75 for several years but this is my first .45 pistol. I load mostly Berry's and Xtreme flat point bullets in my CZ75 so ordered a bunch of Berry's 200 gr flat point for the CZ97. Since I 'plunk test' all my CZ75 bullets I decided to do the same with this CZ97. With this Berry's flat point my max OAL to the lands is 1.150". So a load length would be 1.135 to 1.140". Does this sound correct? It is shorter than almost all load data shows, but on the other hand I load my CZ75 with flat points to 1.075"-1.080".
Just curious if the 97 has a short chamber too, like the 75? Had not read anything about that.
