Does anyone know if Taran Tactical base pads fit magwell?

Wondering if anyone has any experience using Taran Tactical based extensions with the CZ-UB magwell, if it will fit/seat.  Thanks.

Just looking at those front and rear lips I'd say no. There's not much room for "fat" extensions.

The picture below is of the CZ UB extensions made for that magwell. Compare that to the TT and you'll see why I don't think it'll work.

I actually wondered that myself, but then I have these Shockbottle '+0' baseplates which extend out the front a bit, and it fits fine in the magwell since it sits/mounts low......





The front on the TT looks about the same, and the rear is cut even lower too, so I'm wonderingg if it will.

Actually, the original pic of the Taran was wrong, it was for a Glock magazine....here's the one for a CZ....






....looks like even less lip than the Shockbottle.  I guess it'll come down to how 'high' it mounts on the mag base.

I run CZ Custom and Springer precision extended bases on my TSO with the OEM magwell without issue.  I can't comment if the clearances are the same between the 75 and TS variants?  I prefer the CZ Custom design due to the ability to quickly take them apart for on the range cleaning.

No experience with the CZ-UB magwell.  I use the magwell from CZC on my SP-01 Shadow, TTI Basepad fits perfectly

Much thanks.  Will probably take a chance with them, shouldn't have a problem returning if they don't fit after just checking one without firing.

according to this pic, they seem to be fine on a Shadow 2 and magwell, which shares the same mag.  So hopefully it will be fine.  Ordered a set.

So the TTI base pads fit the magwell fine.....






.....thing is that I only get +1.....18-rds in a 17-rd mag body, not +2/19 like it's supposed to.  The spring is just plain in the baseplate, no added internal floor plate.  Anyone have any ideas......clip a coil or sand down the follower's legs?

You get the highest capacity with grams springs and followers.

The picture I posted above of the CZ UB extension gets me 20rds +1 in the 17rd mecgar mag with the grams kit. I can almost get 21 in the mag though. So close...

Yeah I was looking at those.  I'll probably pick them up somewhere down the line.  I sanded down the stock followers by a few mm's and it seems to help.

Okay, so after some careful filing and contouring of the followers, I'm able to comfortably get 19 in each mag now.  Actually I can get in 20 with enough give to seat on a closed slide.  Pretty nice.

So how did it go?

I get 22 + 1 on my TTI base pad with grams springs and follower. On make ready, I actually start of with 1 in the chamber + 23 rounds in the mag and really have to slam it in.

Contouring the stock base pads I can very comfortably get 19 rounds, and even 20 if I really press down.  Mags have been completely reliable as far as I can tell.  Have not tried them yet with .40 S&W, as I have .40 S&W capability not this gun too.  My guess is that they would hold 15 rds in .40.  I might get those followers somewhere down the line.

Oh....and when I said 'interesting week'...I meant for Taran Butler.    Hoo boy......
