The sight arrived today and I just finished installing it about an hour ago. I have to remember to file just a wee-bit off the sides of the sight to make the installation easier. I love the fact that the sight was ready to accept the pin, so no drilling/filing required! I am loving the fiber optic front and I think they pair up well with the standard "rechargeable" rear adjustable sights.
I did, however, bent my pin punch!

Thankfully I had a punch that I primarily use for my Glocks that got me out of this jam.

I took some pictures of my Kadet II with its big brother 97B (less than a week old!) since only these two of my gun collection have fiber optic front sights.
I went with the following front sight from CZ Custom:
CZ Fiber Optic Front Sight Serrated 1.0mm x 6.5mm x .125" Pre Drilled and Screw
SKU: 10395
Getting the gun ready to replace the front sight. It has served me well, but the time has arrived to try out a FO front; I enjoy it tremendously on my 97B and I think, with the adjustable rear sight, will make this pistol even more of a joy to shoot!

I work on my CZ front sights using this wood block and cloth; I drilled a hole on the block so when I punch out the pin, it falls into the hole and is secured for retrieval.

Gosh darn it, I can't believe I damaged my punch like this!

All nicely installed! I had to go buy a lighter to install the fiber optic since I could not find one in my house.

Little Kadet II with big CZ-97B.

I am loving the sight profiles on these two guys!
