457 Lux 22lr......pretty impressed!
« on: October 29, 2019, 10:03:35 PM »
Picked up my Lux about a week ago and am really impressed.  I had a 455 Rustic Trainer in the past, really like that too, but the nicer wood....push forward safety...lowered bolt throw all make for a pretty stellar setup.  I also picked up (2) steel 5rd mags from CZ-USA that are MUCH more solid feeling than the polymer one....though the polymer function perfectly as well, but the steel just seem to fit the overall quality of the Lux a bit more  :)   I'll post some pics in the near future, haven't shot it yet...seems mother nature wants to bring serious winter weather VERY early to Colorado this year, so an anticipated glowing outdoor/range report will have to wait a bit  ::)

very nice.

I love the feel of the steel mags; they feel like they will survive for all of time.

I've almost ordered the steel 10 rders from Europe a couple times...but over $100 for a mag is just a bit silly....
Some will die in hot pursuit in fiery auto crashes.
Some will die in hot pursuit while sifting through my ashes.
Some will fall in love with life, and drink it from a fountain, that's pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain.

Not sure why these mags are so expensive.....but regardless the metal do have a much better feel, I totally agree
