Rami 2075 safety model trigger

Thinking I need to change out the trigger,but have never done any gunsmithing.  Can I change out the trigger without removing the trigger bar?  I'm thinking of the "old style" trigger or the 5 thick trigger plus floating trigger pin, all from CGW.  Any help is appreciated.

Don't own a Rami bit if it's like other CZ 75 variants then no the sear cage must be removed before the trigger bar and trigger will come out.

   Until last week i would have  fully agreed with SI VIS PACEM PARRABELLUM's post above. I believed for a long time that the trigger bar would not come up far enough to clear the frame and allow access to the Trigger/Trigger Bar pin so that you could free the trigger completely. I think i may have even tried it and failed a ways back, which reinforced to me that it was not possible.

   Then not too long ago someone suggested that it was possible. So i gave it another go on my RAMI BD last week and with the hammer set at the half cock notch i was just able to lift the Trigger Bar up High enough to access the Trigger/Trigger Bar Pin and slide it out clear of the trigger. The pin was stopped from sliding all the way out by the inside of the frame rail but it did clear the Trigger Bar so that i could remove the trigger. I was then able to install a black 85c CGW trigger without issue. After this i checked to see it it was possible on my CZ 85B and i was able to get its Trigger Bar up high enough to access the pin too. So while it is a bit tricky it is possible.

While Tok has shown it is possible, I'd still recommend pulling the trigger bar assembly.   On a safety model the sear cage is easy to pull and only comes out assembled.

Steps:
Field strip
Remove grips
Remove main spring
Remove safety lever
Remove sear cage
Remove trigger

Assembly in reverse.

While in there you can clean the nooks and crannies and determine if you wan't to smooth any surfaces.  You have to have some level of mechanical aptitude to tackle this but not a lot.

I agree with Toby. It isn't a difficult disassembly, and you'll likely spend as much time and deal with more frustration trying to shortcut the job. Either way, you should have a starter punch to drive out the OEM trigger pin.

Well, I ordered the 5 thick trigger, floating trigger pin and reduced power return spring from CGW and got them yesterday.  I dropped of the Rami and the parts today at my LGS/shooting range.  A guy that works there does some smithing and owns 3 CZ's and said he would do the trigger and parts for me.  Cost will be $10-$20, which works for me.  He said would be done by Mon. or Tues., so I should get in some shooting time before Thanksgiving.
