Probably shill bidders to bump up the price.

Another just sold for $2,610.  It did come with six magazines, the case, manual, etc.

I paid $470 for mine in 2017 on GunBroker.  It's blued and looks really nice overall, but ironically is the least reliable CZ75 clone that I have.  The hammer keeps falling to the half-cock position.  I tried fixing it but ended up setting it aside due to other projects.  Perhaps I should restart my efforts.

Yeah, I worry about stuff like that. I buy a lot from GB.

Pretty sure shill bidders as well.  That and the short slide pre-b’s…seeing them go for 2200+ is suspect.

I could be wrong but I feel like most CZ collectors would frequent this forum and one or two pics would get posted.

If the person posting the auction didn't have to pay GunBroker fees for auctions, I might be able to buy the shill bidders theory.  However, the person posting the auction does have to pay GunBroker.  In the case of the last auction, that would be $110.90.  What would be the purpose of paying GunBroker this kind of money and not actually selling the gun?  Do they have other identical items to sell?  There's no indication of that.  Also, multiple bidders were involved in driving the price up.  Guys, as much as it surprises me, these are real auctions.  The person in the country who wanted it the most at that moment paid it.

I USED to get excited about these pistols, then I saw one in a local shop for about $800, and the trigger was crap.  Stacked hard for a PreB type pistol.  I WOULD NEVER purchase one on line.
