Positive Audible Reset Gone After Trigger Polish

So, I decided to polish the trigger bar and all the contact points to smoothen out the action on my Shadow 2, but after doing so, the positive audible reset both for DA and SA are gone, I did not use any sand paper, just polishing compound and the dremel. Sometimes the DA trigger action would slip. Any idea what causing this? Thanks.

You probably took off too much material and rounded off the corners. You’ll be surprise polishing compound takes off more material than you realize especially when used with a dremel.

Did you polish the hammer and disconnect or too?

Not the disconnector, hammer, only the sides that rubs frame.

Did you do any polishing to the top rear of the bar? Also, check the trigger bar spring for tension and that its riding in the grooves on the bottom side of the bar.

This was I was thinking.
Also, tweaking the trigger bar spring to reduce tension will also reduce the tactility and audibility of the reset.

Check the trigger bar support spring.
Take off the grips to check and see whether the spring is riding in the channels of the trigger bar.

Also check to see if the spring is properly tensioned.
