Lima,

Does the slide move freely without the barrel/recoil spring installed?

Is your slide stop or barrel feedramp "peanut" damaged?

Does the barrel move freely in and out of lockup when in the slide without the recoil spring?

What happened exactly when the slide became very difficult to move?  Did you experience a squib? How about a louder than normal discharge?

Cheers,
Toby

Start posting some pictures. That's very odd.
If it's not recoil spring or guide rod related it could be hammer spring/strut related.

I believe he posted in one of the CZ Facebook groups. He installed a flat faced trigger for single action conversion. You need to post pictures and state everything, if any mods are done to the firearm etc.

Not me on face book, pictures are not going to show the problem.
remove the factory buff that was on the guide rod, help wee bit.
order a 12/13 lb recoil spring, will go with it.
the shadow shoots fine, just have to grit your teeth and pull loke king kone.
