I am considering buying my first CZ, probably a Shadow 2. I know exactly zero about them. Never shot one. In fact I have shot almost no 9 mm, and its been a few years. I shoot several 1911s in 45 ACP in various matches. I generally work over the triggers to get a very clean break in the range of 2.5 to 3 pounds, short reset, etc. I do pretty much all my own work on 1911s (and Ruger 22s) and am happy with their performance.
I am wondering about the factory trigger on Shadow 2. What does it break at out of the box? Do folks like it as it comes, or does it require reworking to get a crisp light pull trigger? Can the DIY wanna-be gunsmith work on it? Or does it require special tooling, etc to work on? I've heard that SA/DA are hard to get good triggers. Just asking.
Thanks for the help
