Suppressor inside carbine rail vs short aftermarket rail
« on: January 18, 2020, 01:23:17 PM »
Anyone tried both and have a preference?  I have a octane under the rail and make for a longer truck gun that I  want.  Considering getting the short HBI.  I am worried that I'll get it and not like the comfort of the long rail.

I have the micro barrel with 6.84 flat, have the micro handguard, but like this look. It's comfy, I like to be tucked in

I have a Obsidian 9 on a 3lug underneath the stock hand guard and it works well.  The Obsidian 9 can be used in a short or long configuration. The longer is easier to take on and off, but the short leaves just enough room to do it.

Sorry the pix aren't the best.

Close up with the can in the shorter config:

Did you have your long barrel cut or did you buy a rifle handguard with a pistol barrel?

It’s the a braced pistol that came in this configuration. It comes with a flash can and a 7-ish” barrel.
