New shade of OD Green?

Last week received a P-01 OD Green that I had ordered on-line. It is SKU # 91198. I had seen many green p-01s on the forum etc. and I thought they looked pretty cool, so when I spotted this NIB, I grabbed it. Anyway, the shade of green is NOT the olive green I have seen previous pictures of. This gun has a dark (almost black) shade of green. The thing is beautiful and I actually prefer it over the lighter green. I just thought it was odd that nobody else ever mentioned it on the forum, or they did and I missed the post.

Good for you ! Darker green sounds great ! Can you post some pictures? Perhaps all pictures on the Forum get lighter shade than real green?

I saw one in distributor's listing last night. I thought it was a bad pic. Yeah, really cool! Congrats on getting one.

I guess the pictures of most OD green p01s shows up lighter than they really are. I found a video on-line "Shadow line compact vs cz p01 steel frame". The guy was showing his OD green p01 and this is the first one that I have seen that is medium dark green like mine. As I mentioned, maybe I just thought they were all lighter due to the on-line pictures. Search out the video, it shows a true color. Regards, and thanks for all the kind words.
