Shadow 2 Lok grip sizes
« on: February 25, 2020, 10:23:43 PM »
Hello,
I’ve been shooting a Stock 2 with Lok Thin Bogies for a bit.  Just got a shadow 2 and am torn between thin bogies and palm swells.  I like the ease of reaching the mag release much better with the Shadow 2, even though I can still hit it on my Stock 2 barely without breaking my grip.  Would palm swells make it a lot harder to hit the mag release?  I know breaking your grip isn’t a big problem, but I prefer not to if I don’t have to

I have been struggling with this since I bought mine.  I have thin bogies and my friend has bogie palm swells.  But it's not an even comparison because he has a flat single action trigger which is different trigger distance lol.

I'm going to borrow his grips and put them on mine soon.  But I think I like the palm swell but will add a thumb relief for the mag button.

Hopefully soon I will have a legit comparison for myself.

LOK offers a standard profile that is in between the thin and palm swells.  I run those now on my TSO's as my hands are large and they fit better than the thins.

Look here:

You can also order Palm Swells and add "high top" in the order comments.  You get the ergos of palm swells but the low profile of thins up top.  No issue hitting the mag release.

EDIT: The option I was told to put in the order comments is: "tall on top".

Thanks for the insight everyone.  I think I’ll try the “high top” palm swells

I just double checked my order with LOK.  The option is "tall on top"
