CM9-Gen 2 Accessories and Mods.
« on: February 28, 2020, 12:14:57 AM »
I've purchased a Sarsilmaz CM9 gen 2 while back, after putting a few hundred rounds i want to see if what parts i can swap out with little to no trouble  on the pistol. Such as Slide Release, Hammer, Mag Release and perhaps a new Barrel like a threaded type. Any thought's that anyone can share?

I have the stainless slide model and it’s just a home defense gun for me. I don’t really know of anyone modifying these guns. Maybe try YouTube.

Will look into it thanks just a thought, i have heard its not really considered a true CZ copy because how the barrel and slide are made and i guess the ejection pattern it is, I was told its more like a Sig P226 style Barrel.

As far as I know it’s pretty close to the EAA Witness polymer frame.

12# rebound spring from a K frame is an easy swap for the OEM hammer spring and it does wonders for the trigger pull.

I’m not very familiar with what you’re talking about. Can you post an image or link to search?

Here's a video on the disassembly.  Unfortunately, the Poster's Install Video got corrupted and was never posted, but this gives a look into what this mod is all about.
FWIW, I'm happy with the stock Hammer Springs.

Yeah, at $285 shipped, the CM9 stainless out of the box is a good shooter for the money. I’m just curious what the K frame spring swap was all about.

I watched that video and the guy seems to have made it harder by holding the rear sear/hammer block and trying to knock out the hammer pin. I always just place it on the bench block and knock it out. The punch always catches the hammer anyway.
