A standard SP-01?  No, I already have a couple of CZ Custom guns: Shadow Orange SP-01 and a Bull Shadow 2 set-up with a Vortex optic.  Plus, I own a couple of standard (unmodified) CZ 75's and have shot a friend's standard SP-01 many times.

Watchya need that for???  :o  LOL  Seriously, though, it really came down to a choice between either waiting for the Dan Wesson DWX to become available or going with another SP-01 derivative and I chose the Bull Shadow SP-01 because I already own extra mags and a competition holster that'll work nicely with it.  I'm such a CZ and 1911 fan I'll probably get a DWX at some point, though.

Very nice, congrats!

Thank you!  I've developed quite an appreciation for SP-01's during the past couple of years so when CZ Custom started building a Bull Shadow-version, oh man, it went to the top I've my must-have list.

Thanks!  Unfortunately, it didn't make it much past the first box of (factory) ammo before the extractor broke-off and went flying.  WTH.  I didn't even notice it until it stopped ejecting empty cases.  When I looked to see what was wrong, I noticed that the extractor was completely missing!  I looked around for it in the grass and gravel but, I couldn't find it.

So, after 53 rounds it has to go back to CZ Custom for repairs.  Great!   >:(

That is a sharp looking gun.  Sucks about the extractor but why didn't you just replace it yourself?  Like a 5 minute fix at the range.

LOL  Well, you're right but I'm not in the habit of keeping extra extractors in my range bag in anticipation of breaking one every 50 rounds.

It is a sharp-looking gun and it will be for sale in the classifieds as soon as I get it back from CZ Custom.  :)

Obviously it's your call, but I wouldn't sell a new gun because of a broken extractor. Small parts can fail, that isn't necessarily indicative of a quality control issue. Your B.S.2 on the other hand, that wss a different story all together. You were so excited about the BS, I hate to see you give it up.
