Decocker doesn’t decock after Pro install
« on: March 20, 2020, 03:49:54 AM »
Hi everyone! I received the Pro package and installed it in my PCR D compact and everything works great except the decocker. This happens immediately after I install the hammer spring, 13 #. Before I install the hammer spring, the decocker works fine. Everything else works great, the DA, SA trigger, which are amazing! Anyone have any ideas? I did send out an email about this to CGW.

The hammer spring has nothing to do with the decocking, you might have not assembled the sear cage assembly correctly.

Put other spring back in and try it.

I’ve assembled the sear cage according to the instructions and videos, and used all the springs provided in the kit, but I’ll break it down again and try your suggestions.  Thanks!

Update: I took it to the range and shot 300 rounds, and the decocker works perfectly now. The DA/SA and new trigger are heaven, and my accuracy has improved as well.  God I love this gun even more now!!

I didn’t, although I was about to.  The decocker cam was not fully seated against the decocker lever so I just pushed a little with a 1/16 punch and it went into place.  Everything worked perfectly after that.  Thanks for the tip Mojo!
