If you are looking for primer's  Midsouth still has Fiocchi primers in stock and the price isn't too bad.

Thanks for the reminder. I have not got into them yet but I did buy the 12K crate earlier in the year. Looks like powder is the hard to come by item now,but I'm good for at least 20K+++ 9mm at the moment !  ;)

I ordered 12k fiocchi primers and some RMR bullets right  before all this mess. Glad I did. I scored on 4 lbs of primer locally from a guy earlier in the week. Jumped on it just in case this last longer than we think it will.

By the way, fiocchi don't seem too popular. This will be the 2nd 12k case I use. Was very happy with the last case. Had a few light strikes but that was my fault for not seating the primers all the way. They seem to be comparable to Winchester primers.

It's a matter of people not knowing the name and being Italian. And due to Italy being the epicenter of the China virus in Europe, is not a desirable address right now.

If anyone is still looking for small pistol primers lg-outdoors has Winchester match primers listed on GunBroker.  Not cheap though.

I've seen people on social media reloading pages complaining about the trays they use. Apparently the Fiocchi trays hold 150, so they are awkward to use with progressives that hold 100. And apparently the  trays are not laid out in a neat, rectangular format. Some rows hold 10 while other rows hold 15.

It is fairly strange !

I've been loading with Fiocchi's for several months now. I just got my 2nd case of 12k. They look and load very similar to Winchester. About the same hardness as far as I can tell.

Yes, the trays have 150 primers. It is awkward but not terrible. Just have to do a little math to get 100 in the tube. The trays have rows of 8. Then one row of 6.

They do come in a nice wood case. Poplar I think. The case can be reused for other stuff. Best part though is the price. I've found the cases for about 2 cents per primer. $265 shipped for a case of 12k.

Thanks for that last photo. I'm very glad to be corrected.

The photo I saw only had the first 2 rows exposed out of the sleeve, and they made it sound like every row had a differnt count.

So I'm correcting my statement in light of new evidence.  Thank you.

I used Fiocchi small pistol primers for the first time last night. My Dillion XL750 seems to like them and they take less pressure to seat than Federal or Winchester. The odd packaging takes some getting used to but it's no big deal
