Sent my Evo back for warranty work twice. Both times because it wouldn't hold open on the last round. First time they said they changed the bolt stop and it tested good.
Got it back and it started failing again after about 50 rnds.
Sent it again and, this time, they replaced the bolt stop and the bolt.
Put about 500 rnds through it since and it's still working great.
Went to clean it today and realized that the serial numbers no longer match. The one engraved on the bolt is different than the one on the frame.
Is this how it's supposed to be?
I was going to load a pic, but thought I probably shouldn't advertise the numbers, so you'll just have to take my word for it, they're different.
Also, on the underside of the bolt it's stamped with a "20", but the year above the serial number is still an "18".
