I Joined the Kadet Club!

I have a Ruger Mark II which I really like for .22 but I've been wanting a Kadet to have the CZ feel, trigger and controls. The old complete Kadets are quite expensive when available and I don't want to have to change out mainsprings on my current CZs if I went with a Kadet 2 kit so I contacted CZ Custom and asked about making a fully dedicated Kadet. Picked it up today, feels and looks great!

Sure; it doesn't make a bit of (functional) difference, just a case of aesthetics
Could buy one of them, then sell my KADET (I) without an issue
But that could turn into a big ol' can of warms

I really considered the original complete Kadet but I prefer the upswept beaver tail on the frame I had built over the downward swept beaver tail on the original Kadet. I have that downward swept beaver tail on a 75 Compact. I also like the extended safeties on this frame. I'm probably going to wait till the current situation is over, my city and county have a stay home ordnance going on right now. I have plenty of CCI Mini-mag ready for the range.

Very nice frames! I have sadly not had the chance to shoot a single action CZ. I had a 99041 which I was going to have converted over to single action but I sold it to fund another pistol.
