My other "guns" apart my CZ
« on: April 17, 2020, 05:56:28 AM »
Hi there.
Since here we can show our other brand gus and since I do have some other "firearms", although homemade by me, I thought I could show them to you. Free to laugh, laughter prolongues life span  ;D 8) :D

Black powder bronze cannons. One naval and one land. Net barrel length 20 cm. Powerful enough to penetrate a 6 cm thick fir wood plank at 15 yards.

Enjoy!!!

Very interesting! Were these built from a kit?

So...Player66 was a reloader before he was a pistol owner!!

Those look like a lot of fun.  Educational also.  Thanks for posting these.

No, they were built from scratch, using common home matterials such as pieces of iron, plumber parts, screws, wood, etc, only the barrels were made of solid, high quality bronze bars in which I opened the bores using my table drill. They are 100% handmade by me. And the cannon balls are made of lead fishing weights.

Nice work! Obviously a labor of love.

How's the recoil?

I could only see it, not feel it, since they fire on the ground. They actually move about half meter (20 inches) backwards.

I want one.

O.K. so part of me is still a kid.

We did something similar when I WAS a kid using steel pipe, pellets and firecrackers, had a blast.

You should have seen my hands when I was 14 years old. Almost crepled from blast accidents :D
