Aluminum grips
« on: April 17, 2020, 12:41:00 PM »
Just picked up my first cz, a used sp01 in great condition. I want to add some new grips and I really like the look of the green and blue aluminum grips. My question is are they practical as in do they give you a better grip or are they more for just looks? Opinions and pics of your aluminum grips appreciated

This is my Every day carry at this time of year.....
P-01 with blue aluminum grips...
Pretty and functional. the are great grips.
I have many other grips as well LOKs, Guuns, coolhand grips, most every brand out there.
I have about 15 sets of grips in my safe not on guns and every gun I own is regripped.

These are very cool very good looking and are great grips.

just one guys opinion though.

Nice pistol, it’s a beaut! I love them personally. Most of my CZ’s have the aluminum grips and the ones that don’t,  I’m working on it ; )Try -

I picked up a used P-01 with blue aluminum grips and can’t stand blue, too much “bling”.  I like the feel just not the color.  May trade for black or have them anodized black.

You can strip the anodizing and polish them pretty easy, that’s what I plan on doing with the blue set I have recently acquired.

Strip the anodizing?  With?

Easyoff oven cleaner?  Never checked out removing anodizing.  Just assumed it was more difficult.  I may give it a try.

Thanks
