Anyone have a P-07 and P-10C? Looking for an EDC...

I've owned both, but sold my P-10C.  I just didn't connect with it as well as I thought I would.  I didn't shoot it any better than my G19, and was already vested in the Glock system, so I sold the P-10C.  The P-10C and the G19 are both a bit large for me to comfortably carry and fully conceal.  However, I still have my P07, and find it to be a great truck (car) pistol.  I keep it locked up with a round chambered but de-cocked.  I have it in an AIWB kydex holster (Vedder Lighttuck), so I can put it on for quick runs into a store.  Not the most comfortable, but it works for short periods of time.  I wouldn't use it for extended CCW.   My primary CCW is a P365.  I have both an OWB hybrid holster that I prefer wearing at 3 O'clock, and an AIWB kydex holster.

Thanks for all of the opinions and insight, really appreciated. Never had a plastic or striker gun in the almost 40 years of shooting/owning firearms. But I do need a lighter EDC, back not what it used to be. Thinking a Rami might cover all needs. LGS has two.....

Late to this party, I have both a P10c and a P09. While the P09 isn’t what you asked about, it is similar in operation to the P07.

My take is the P10 is what I’d carry. For me, the ergos and speed by which I can deliver rounds on target from a holster are better with the P10 than the P09.  Not much mind you, but discernible and repeated in my IDPA matches. The P10 just fits me better.

That said, I certainly wouldn’t disparage anyone who chooses a P07 (or a rami). They are good guns and if they fit you, your method of carry, and your comfort level (to include peace of mind with mechanism) then I’d say go with it.

I carry striker guns and revolvers, mainly because I shoot them well and can comfortably carry them in the holsters/ belts I have.

I got rid of my Glock 19 for the P10C. Glock knuckle became a real problem for me. No other gun manufacturer I’ve tried gives me that problem. 

I bought a P07 to experience the DA/SA trigger and it was affordable for me vs a all metal option to start with.

The P07 feels absolutely great in my hands and it’s as light as typical striker. It’s a good option for someone that may prefer a DA/SA over a striker or someone that wants to experience DA/SA.

Well, my search for a new EDC for summer shorts season is over. Stopped into LGS as I do from time to time to check out the used selection. Sitting there, 2019 manufacture date, Rami BD. Not a huge fan of decockers, but she looked almost unused, all the candy in the CZ improved box and factory night sights. Less than 375.00 out the dooooooor. Could not say no. Now to order a holster from TTGunleather.

When I bought my first P07, I was not overly fond of it.  Then I bought a P10C and fell immediately in love with it.  Fast forward several years and its the P07 platform that gets most of the carry time and the P10Cs are being considered to sell.  Both are great guns and both will serve you well.  Which one is best for you just comes down to which one works best for you.  Try to find a way to shoot both and see or maybe just buy one of each and sell what does not work for you.  You’ll lose a couple of bucks maybe but you’ll lose less than you would when trying a new restaurant some time.
