Steel is real

I went with a CZ-75B as I thought it fit in with the 1911A1 (Fusion Reaction in 9mm) and my Browning Hi Power. Looks like a set to me what do you think?

You have good taste.

The photos, above, look mighty nice.  Steel pistols are not for everyone, but I suspect a lot of younger (under 55) shooters grew up with plastic guns and don't know how good that trio of steel pistols feel and how well they point.  The 1911A1 and the CZ-75 stand out for me, and their extra weight, slim and natural grip shape, and inherent accuracy make them -- to me -- wonderful guns to shoot.

I like steel guns as my photo showed. BUT I have poly guns as well. A Sig P365x (that's a P365 with the grip module from a 365XL installed) and a Ruger MK IV 22/45.

They all have a place. Cost of a steel gun would slow or stop some from taking up shooting where as a Poly gun can fit the bill and do an good job. And for us old farts the heft and beauty of a well cared for Hi Power or CZ 52 (yea I'm looking for one) can bring just as much happiness to us as the Poly gun to the guy just starting out.

One more looking for a nice example Hi Power... I had an all-Belgium example for years, and now I'd like to find another.

I've got quite a few other all-steel pistols, though.

Thanks, Bill-in-Texas. It’s been a while and I didn’t make the connection. Fantastic specimen, more so among the usually rough Czech Made ones.

Steel...plus wood, leather, paint...are real and often show their scars for it.
