SP-01T
« on: May 30, 2020, 03:31:07 PM »
I got my first SP-01 today. It's a 2018 model SP-01 tactical in Urban Gray, suppressor ready, with the case, paperwork, 2 factory mags and 2 MecGar mags. I am the 3rd owner. The guy I bought it from was selling it to pay for a $1200 custom AR type pistol in 300 Blackout. He said it had been to Cajun Gun Works, by the original owner, but he didn't have any paperwork to prove it.
It's a really nice gun, great balance, smooth trigger, just obvious quality that you expect from CZ.
I got it for $600. That's a good price here. The only CZ dealer in the area has SP-01's in black, w/o suppressor barrel, and they want over $700.
I hope to get it out tomorrow, if the weather cooperates.

I think Cajun can confirm or deny based on you telling them the serial number. If this was pre-seasoned with Cajun spice, then you found an outstanding deal.

Nice!  I wonder if it got the full CGW kit, does it still have the factory hammer?

It is the factory hammer. I had it to the range yesterday and it shot great. I put a brief range report in the stickies on The SP-01 Club.

Nice find. $600 for that package is a good deal for sure. The SP-01 Tac is an outstanding pistol.

I forgot to ask this earlier but, when I shot this, the barrel nut started coming loose. It didn't when I did 5 round drills, but if I had a full mag, the nut would be loose. I tried to tighten by hand the best I could. I didn't have any tools to work with.
Any tips on what would work best? Thanks

Put an o-ring on the barrel then put the thread protector on.  The o-ring will hold it in place.
