New(to me) 82
« on: June 13, 2020, 01:17:33 PM »
I stopped in my favorite gun shop today and they had just taken in a nice model 82. It's a CAI import, dated '89, came with just 1 mag but also a box of PPU ammo. I got it for $250.
I was looking for a metal DA/SA handgun and figured I'd have to spend a lot more. This was just what I was looking for. I'll probably have to order ammo online. The shop did have 3 boxes of S&B but would only sell me 2 so that he wouldn't be completely out.
I'm not sure when I will get it out to the range but I'm happy to have it.

I've found that growing up in the sixties was a lot more fun than being in my sixties.

I would have bought for that price, if I saw that.

My normal practice 9x18mm ammo is Silver Bear.

If you want defensive hollowpoints, Hornady Critical Defense has a 9x18mm loading.
I don't look like my avatar!

They are fun little guns, you will enjoy it and you got it for a good price these days, too.
