Czech 97’s
« on: July 15, 2020, 10:00:39 PM »
I saw Czech field coats on midway....the M97 to be specific.

I have a weakness for military surplus...so I ordered one.

Yesterday I happened upon a CZ97B...which I’ve been looking for.

So I ended up with two 97’s for the week

Some will die in hot pursuit while sifting through my ashes.
Some will fall in love with life, and drink it from a fountain, that's pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain.

Fantastic.  Congratulations. Are they both the same model?

Neat, gratz on the new CZ. I did not know that Midway sold surplus gear.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

Close....neighbors. That’s the Slovak coat of arms so it’s Slovak surplus. Very cool.

This is current Czech army field wear (the soldier standing is the equivalent rank of the Sergeant Major of the Army in the US Army).

That’s good info on the coat...thanks for that

It’s a nice coat...well worth the 36 or whatever dollars it cost.
