What’s the deal? 38 Super & 9mm Bullets for Reloading.

Is the 9mm bullet used for reloading 38 Super!  Is it safe?  I know the sizes are similar/same, but.  Copper plated.

If same size no problem. I use Super bullets in 9mm. Coated bullets need to be .357 for my CZs to keep from leading. 9mm are .355 and 38Super .356 jacketed. Berry show be same diameter so go to go if velocity kept in check. They will shed plate to high velocity ask me how I know.
Good luck

Owing to the vast number of 9mm barrels being made today, a lot of makers are simply reaming the chambers to make 38Super. So yes, it's quite possible that your 38Super might slug at 0.355-0.356". BUT... you'll need to slug your barrel to find out. We can't advise you on what your barrel may or may not measure.

Batteries not included. Some assembly required.
