P10F Magazine Issue
« on: October 02, 2020, 10:48:13 PM »
Loaded a mag today and it sounds like something is rattling inside when I shake it or jist move it a certain way. Anything to worry about? It's fully loaded with 19 rounds

fairly common with 9x19mm mags due to the case taper. Most mags the rattle goes away after the top round is chambered

As you're loading it, you can tap the back of the magazine against the palm of your hand (or some other relatively firm cushioned surface) so that the cartridges are seated fully to the rear of the mag.  You can hear the rattling reduce to near zero with multiple taps as you do it.  However, once fully loaded, some mags still rattle a little.

Awesome, thank you! I only have 200 or so rounds through the the thing so I wanted to make sure I wasn't headed for trouble already!

Thank you. I did notice if I put some pressure on the top round it seemed to go away. I'll give that a try!
