Nowhere in any of my Sig documentation does it say country of manufacture.

The internet says that both the Romeo5 and Holosun come out of the same factory in China.

Anyone know what low mount will work on a Sig MSR and absolute co-witness on the Scorpion carbine?

is everyone that's running a Romeo 5 still happy? I agree for the money it seems like you can't go wrong. I definitely don't want to spend Eotech money again at least not for the scorpion. I am happy with my romeo01pro on my 320AXG but obviously they're different animals and a big price difference.
Thanks,

Sean

I'm using a Vortex Spitfire AR prism on my Scorpion due to my really bad eyes (astigmatism). Regular dots look like alien amoebas to me. The prism ring works out great for close in, quick shots for me. This gun is not my long range precision gun anyway.
Wish I had as many guns as my husband has tools!

I have tried two Holosuns and one Sig my Scorpion and with the low mount they do co-witness. Not sure if the MSR is the same size/height, but it sure looks like it...

I have a Holosun HE503GU-Green on my Micro Scorpion, a Holosun HS503GU-Red on standard braced Scorpion pistol and a Holosun HS503GU-Red on my FA HK MP5. I have all 3 setup for the circle dot reticle, which works perfectly for me. Anything inside the 65moa circle at 25yds is very quickly a solid hit. The 2moa dot is perfect for more precision (hostage taker head shots in shoot house) and longer ranges 100+ yds. The Scorpions are in the low mounts directly to the rail and they co-witness perfectly with standard sights for me. The HK uses the lowest profile mount I could get and with the Holosun using it's low mount, it also co-witnesses with the factory sights. So far, (knock on wood), all have worked perfectly. All 3 use the standard CR2032 battery in the side mount screw on cap (now discontinued), which makes it extremely easy to change out batteries when needed. All 3 models have the Shake Awake feature to conserve battery life.

I have a newer model Holosun HS503CU that utilizes a side mounted battery tray that uses incredibly small headed torx screws to secure the battery tray (you have to utilize their driver tool of which I have already stripped the bit on the one provided and they did send a replacement) and it is a huge pain in the ass to change the batteries. Whatever bean counter or engineer that came up with this battery tray design needs to stop sucking oxygen permanently.

Another vote for the Holosun, in my case, the 510C Elite.  This one has a green laser, which IMO is easier to see. I like the 510 series because the glass is larger than most pistol sized red dots, and it gives a wider angle of view, and yet the overall size isn't too large so that it doesn't look too big on the compact Scorpion.

Got Romeo 5’s for both Scorpions and they’ve been great not just from the price point but also in terms of battery life, durability and reliability the past 6 years.
