Cajun Gun Works reduced power trigger spring - posting photos
« on: October 06, 2020, 05:51:31 PM »
While trying to replace the stock trigger return spring with a Cajun Gun Works reduced power trigger spring in my Shadow 2, I misplaced both springs. I was able to find them both, but am not sure which one is which.

Does the Cajun spring typically look more red than the stock spring?

Also, what free service do you recommend for hosting photos to post here?

Thank you, Jim

I can not tell them apart by eye unless i am dealing with the newer CZ factory TRS that is painted red. I can differentiate them in some cases by squishing them in my fingers.

I have a few of each handy, i measured the wire diameter with a micrometer. The factory TRS is (0.036) the CGW Reduced Power TRS is (0.032).

Including images in your posts. (by s0nspark)

The newer factory trigger springs will have a more reddish/orange tint. Not the CGW reduced power versions.

Agree you can feel the higher resistance by squishing the legs together.
