CZ75 Compact with steel lanyard loop ?
« on: October 12, 2020, 08:12:27 PM »
Today I saw a CZ75 Compact dated 2017 with a steel lanyard loop. The loop was rather rough looking raw steel. The pistol only came with one Mec-Gar magazine. I'm trying to find out if this was aftermarket or a factory loop. Any help is appreciated.  My 2018 dated Compact doesnt have one.

Most likely after market, I have a 2018 compact with a flush  and 2 factory mags. My P01 has a lanyard loop.

There's no rhyme or reason to the way CZ ships pistols. I have CZ's that came with the lanyard loop and pistols that did not.

Lanyard loop straight out the bottom (hammer spring sits down in the upper/cup part of the lanyard loop?)  Or sticking out the side and the lanyard loop is attacted to/part of the pin that holds the hammer spring plug/cup in place in the frame?

The first one is factory.  No idea who came up with the idea for the second style but you see those on used/surplus pistols imported from overseas after the military/police using them there get replacement pistols.

Never saw on on a new pistol that was bare metal.  They are black, like the rest of the frame/slide.  If you buy a new one (I actually prefer to have them on my CZs) then they arrive in the little baggy with the black coating on them, too.  The plastic framed CZs use a plastic lanyard loop/hammer spring plug, but it sticks out of the bottom of the frame, too.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

I dont mind the loop and kind like it , but the way it looked was like it was installed aftermarket. The gun is used without the factory magazine and without the box so I'm uneasy of getting it afraid that it's internal parts might be messed with too. But the good thing is that it's $375.

The Browning HiPower used the second type of lanyard system. A lot of Israeli surplus CZs are set up the same way.
